Chief Art Lenaghan (Ret.) - Fire/EMS Consultant

Art Lenaghan has worked in the fire service for over 40 years.  From 1978 through 2006 Art served as Fire Chief for the City of Novi, MI.  During this time Art developed and implemented many innovative changes throughout the years to enhance the quality of service in the City of Novi.

Art holds a Bachelors of Science in Fire Protection and Safety from Madonna University and holds certification in Executive Development III from the National Fire Academy. He has served on the State of Michigan Homeland Security Task Force Planning Commission, Michigan Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Commission, Oakland Community College Fire Service and Henry Ford Community College Fire Service Advisory Board.

Art is a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Michigan Fire Chief’s Association, National Fire Protection Association, and the Building Officials and Code Administrators.
