Regina Doxtader

Ms. Doxtader has been in the Financial Accounting field for 21 years, the last nine of which she has spent with Parastar by way of Botsford Health Care. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Albion College and receiving her CPA, Reggie held positions such as Audit Senior Manager, which included such responsibilities as planning, supervising and conducting financial statement audits for healthcare providers, managed care entities, natural gas pipelines and manufacturing clients. She also has extensive audit experience with pension and 401(k) plans, with a client base that incuded Henry Ford Health System, MidMichigan Health, Sparrow Health System, Tendercare (Michigan) Inc., Blue Care Network of Michigan, Crain Communications Inc. and ANR Pipeline (SEC). Since 2002 Ms. Doxtader has been the Corporate Vice President and Controller for Botsford Health Care, parent company to Parastar. Her responsibilities have included direction and oversight of all finance related activities, which include financial reporting, budget, contracting, forecasting, reimbursement, payroll and accounts payable. During her time with our firm, Ms. Doxtader has successfully prepared and delivered audited financial statements for the organization for the past 7 years. Reported results were within 2% of audited financial results. She has coordinated and provided oversight for the implementation of financial systems (general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, budget, payroll, forecasting, timekeeping) for over 10 reporting entities. Successfully obtained a prohibited transaction exemption from the Department of Labor for the contribution of real estate properties to the defined benefit plan. Worked closely with the Chief Financial Officer to secure a $16.3 million bond offering for the construction of the Botsford Cancer Center. Ms. Doxtader is currently preparing a 5 year financial forecast to assist the Board in evaluating our strategic and financial direction.
